Original Work: In the Next Room (or The Vibrator Play) by Sarah Ruhl
Description
1880-luvun New Yorkissa nuori rouva Catherine Givings on tylsistynyt ja turhautunut, kun hänen miehensä tohtori Givings hoitaa hysteerisiä naisia viereisessä huoneessa sähköisellä vibraattorillaan. Hän alkaa potilaan avulla selvittää, mitä huoneessa tapahtuu. Feministinen komedia perustuu tositarinaan vibraattorin historiasta lääketieteellisenä välineenä.
