Top names of Swedish jazz arrive at Sellosali! Beloved Swedish singer Viktoria Tolstoy performs with her trusted pianist Jacob Karlzon in a warm‑hearted concert that features the confidence and melodic swing born of their long collaboration.
Singer Viktoria Tolstoy and pianist Jacob Karlzon return to the joint record and concert stage with their newly released album Who We Are. The duo’s nearly 30‑year partnership appears in their music as a seamless dialogue, where mutual trust and experience, living in the moment and creativity meet in a unique way.
Who We Are deals with time, change and continuity: how the world changes and how music can accompany, comfort and renew. Tolstoy’s warm, delicate and expressive voice blends with Karlzon’s nuanced piano sounds. The whole is intimate, always new and surprising.
The concert will feature new music from the fresh album as well as familiar pieces from the duo’s shared repertoire. A touching and nuanced evening with two masterful musicians awaits.
